Wonderful Town back in New York and around the world

Aditya Assarat's Wonderful Town will be back in New York for a one-week run from July 18 at the Anthology Film Archives, with further releases planned across the U.S. during the summer and fall. Then, presumably, Kino International, which has the North American rights to the film, will release Wonderful Town on DVD.

Meanwhile, Wonderful Town continues to burn up the festival circuit. ThaiCinema.org tracks the film's progress around the world, to the Melbourne International Film Festival (where Pen-ek Ratanruang's Ploy is also playing), the Durban International Film Festival (where Ploy, Wisit Sasanatieng's The Unseeable and Ekachai Uekrongtham's Pleasure Town are also showing), the Golden Apricot International Film Festival (where it is in competition), and the New Zealand International Film Festivals in both Auckland and Wellington.
